Alumni-Led SushiDogs Grow Sushi Roll Empire with Two New Locations
Culinary Success As SushiDogs, Founded by Alumni Greg Ilsen and Nick Goldstein, Expands Across London
SushiDogs, the popular sushi burrito chain founded by Nicholas Goldstein and Greg Ilsen, both esteemed alumni from the class of 2010, has expanded its presence in London during the summer. The brand has inaugurated two new locations in Baker Street and on the Strand, adding to its growing network, which now comprises a total of six outlets across the city.
SushiDogs' journey began in 2017 when it was established by Greg and Nick. In May 2018, it started as a humble kiosk at Westfield London Shepherd's Bush. The company reached a significant milestone when it opened its inaugural brick-and-mortar establishment in Covent Garden in 2020.
Greg announced, "We are excited to bring our rolls, bowls and salads to two new central London locations, offering local office workers, residents and visitors in the area a healthy and vibrant meal. Over the past 5 years, we have built a loyal brand following which has gone from strength to strength. We can't wait to start this next chapter in our journey, whilst we continue to thrive and seek out opportunities for future growth."
Notably, SushiDogs is not stopping at six locations. The group has exciting plans for further expansion, with a pipeline of four additional stores slated for opening by 2024. The Immanuel College community wish them every success.
